About This Event
Yiamas Music is a dynamic musical duo based in Toronto, Canada. Featuring pianist-vocalist Jeannie Niokos and Bouzouki virtuoso Nick Kutsukos who met while playing Rebetika (Greek blues) in Toronto's vibrant Yorkville district. Since their marriage in 1999, the two have entertained audiences of all sizes.
From intimate home gatherings, Greek festivals, and Crporate event to the main stages of some of Canada's largest festival. High-light of their time together include writing music for and performing in My Big Fat Greek Wedding.
What to Expect
Yiamas Music will perform two sets from Greeces most exceptional composers and artists. During Dinner hour, you will be entertained with music from Rebetika - to light Laika.
During Dancing hour you will line dance with music from various parts of Greece as well as favorite Laika.
We guarantee a memorable and authentic experience of Greek song and dance for all ages.
